My favorite place to eat...cheap and a great environment...fun music playing...lots of folks
in funky fun clothes singing out loud and cherry pie that could melt even the coldest heart!
Unfortunately Silk City is closing...bought out by
some other restaurant owner.
With a heavy heart, I say goodbye to my 24hour
hang out.

NO!! it can't be true. that's a Philly mainstay. :_( is there any other decent 24 hour diner in Philly?
nope, that's it...maybe the trolly car diner. Nothing like silk tho...I think it closes in April.
